Pfizer/Biontech’s COVID 19 vaccine has been authorized for children 5 years and older. Our doses have arrived and we are now scheduling appointments to receive the vaccine! Please call our offices to schedule your child’s two-dose series . Per the CDC we are also scheduling booster (3rd doses) of Pfizer/Biontech’s vaccine for all children 12 years and older who are 5 months from completing their initial series. 2020 brought the 40^th anniversary of Southwest Pediatrics and one of our most challenging years to date, specifically COVID-19 in our community. 2021 has continued to challenge us as we navigate the resurgence of respiratory viruses with in office viral testing in addition to COVID-19 testing and CDC authorized COVID-19 vaccinations to be able to keep kids in school safely. We are proud of the flexibility of our staff and our families to adjust these challenges so that we could continue to offer quality medical care to the children of the Southwest suburbs of Chicago. At every visit, your child will be examined and treated by a board-certified pediatrician, with the support of registered nurses and medical assists. Our physicians will always take the time to listen to your concerns and answer all of your questions, so you will leave our office certain that your child is receiving the best medical care possible. We truly believe that every patient is the most important patient!

YOU WANT PROMPT AND CONVENIENT CARE

We offer same-day visits Monday through Saturday for children who are ill or otherwise in need of immediate care. For well exams, sports and school physicals, and other non-urgent appointments, our front desk will schedule a time that is convenient for your busy schedule. We also have nurses available to answer questions during office hours, and, of course, our physicians are on call 24 hours, 7 days a week through our answering service.
