All patients older than 6 months of age are now eligible to receive the updated Bi-valent Covid 19 vaccination if more than 3 months has passed since their last vaccine. Southwest Pediatrics is thrilled to offer Pfizer/Biontech’s COVID 19 vaccine to all children 5 years and older, and Moderna’s COVID 19 vaccine to children 6 months through 4 years. We are still scheduling primary (1st 2 dose) series. We no are excited to offer, Bi-valent booster doses to patients 12 and up! Please call our offices to schedule your child’s two-dose series .

Southwest Pediatrics is growing! In 2021, we celebrated the opening of our Palos Annex (3 new exam rooms) and Dr. Kelsey Heroux joining our team of physicians. And now we welcome Kim Zoellick, Certified Nurse Practioner. Kim has started seeing patients in both offices on December 1, 2022.

At Southwest Pediatrics, we are your partners in ensuring the very best health care for your child. At every visit, your child will be examined and treated by a board-certified pediatrician, with the support of registered nurses and medical assists. Our physicians will always take the time to listen to your concerns and answer all of your questions, so you will leave our office certain that your child is receiving the best medical care possible. We truly believe that every patient is the most important patient!

YOU WANT PROMPT AND CONVENIENT CARE

We offer same-day visits Monday through Saturday for children who are ill or otherwise in need of immediate care. Our triage nurses will schedule these appointments started at 8:30 AM on a first come/first serve basis. For well exams, sports and school physicals, and other non-urgent appointments, our front desk will schedule a time that is convenient for your busy schedule. We also have nurses available to answer questions during office hours, and, of course, our physicians are on call 24 hours, 7 days a week through our answering service.
