Kelsey Heroux, MD, is a Chicagoland native with a lifelong passion for healthcare. She completed her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Illinois. She completed her pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles ( CHLA). CHLA is a nationally ranked, top 5 freestanding children’s hospital that provided Dr. Heroux with intense and thorough training.

One of her passions is for teaching. She has given presentations for her colleagues on topics ranging from newborn care to school attendance to quality improvement. Dr. Heroux has a particular interest in disorders of the gastrointestinal system.

She believes that shared decision making is a cornerstone to caring for the entire family. She takes care to understand your families’ goals and values, and she looks forward to helping keep your loved ones healthy.

Dr. Heroux is grateful for the opportunity to return to Illinois to care for her community. She enjoys the outdoors in all seasons, and she likes to spend time with family. She lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband and two cats.
